Monday, September 20th: "Rate My Group" Reflection. Students will reflect on how well their group worked together
on Friday when they constructed their towers.
Group activity: Fit all of the group members on a half sheet of newspaper, while singing

Tuesday, September 21st: Observations vs. Inferences
We use our senses to make observations about the world around us. Inferences are
predictions based on our observations.
Students will an opportunity to write both observations and inferences today in class.
Homework: Take Home Test on observations and inferences, due Wed.
Wednesday, September 22nd: Review of Scientific Problem Solving and Safety in the Science Lab
Students will watch a short video and take notes on the proper way to conduct
an experiment. A class discussion will follow about what they learned from the video.

Friday, September 24th: Learning how to create clear, accurate, thorough data
Students will complete an activity to measure students' hand grip strength and will use
a bar graph to display the class data

Classwork and Homework - Students will complete a worksheet to review reading and

Making a line graph activity. Students will do a "penny flip" activity to collect data. From
this information, we will practice making a line graph together.
